SHOOTING WRAPS ON 'THE WORLD'S END' AND SIMON PEGG TWEETS FIRST IMAGE

Post-Mayan giggles are assured for 2013 with the release of both Seth Rogen's 'This is the End' and of course, the subject of today's post, Simon Pegg ('A Fantastic Fear of Everything') and director Edgar Wright's ('Scott Pilgrim vs. the World') latest comic venture to 'The World's End'. Pegg has tweeted the first image from the movie currently shooting in the UK and what with the talent involved and with a 'teaming-up' history of instant classics such as 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' we're confident that 'The World's End' is going to an apocalyptic hit. The main five friends who feature in the movie all pop up in the new pic played by five fantastic Brit stars including of course Simon Pegg, Nick Frost ('Paul'), Paddy Considine ('Dead Man's Shoes'), Eddie Marsan ('Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows') and Martin Freeman ('The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey'). 'The World's End' arrives in UK theatres slap bang in the middle of the Summer season from 14 August 2013 whilst our American cousins will have to wait until 25 October 2013.
