Horror anthology ‘V/H/S’ finally, and deservedly, gets its UK theatrical run kicking off next Friday. It arrives in UK cinemas from 18th January courtesy of Momentum Pictures ahead of its planned Blu-ray and DVD release a mere 10 days later. The anthology is made up of short horror efforts from the likes of talented genre filmmakers such as Ti West (‘The Innkeepers’), Glenn McQuaid, Adam Wingard (‘A Horrible Way to Die’), David Bruckner and Joe Swanberg. The theatrical run will be short and sweet and limited but is well worth seeking out. Head below for the plot deets, UK trailer and quad poster.
“When a group of petty criminals are hired by a mysterious party to retrieve a rare piece of found footage from a rundown house in the middle of nowhere, they soon realise that the job isn’t going to be as easy as they thought. In the living room, a lifeless body is slumped before a hub of old television sets, surrounded by stacks of VHS tapes. As they search for the right one they are treated to a seemingly endless number of horrifying videos, each more terrifying than the last.”
In case its not running at a theatre near you you best head to your local store on the 28th January and pick up a copy on DVD or Blu-ray.
