A FRESH QUINTET OF PROMO POSTERS FOR 'BATES MOTEL'

A batch of teasing promotional posters have arrived for Carlton Cuse's ('Lost') new prequel series 'Bates Motel', courtesy of A&E. The set of 5 posters include what are sure to be significant elements featured in the upcoming show which arrives on our small screens from 18 March 2013. Some of the highlights include a mystery set of legs engulfed in flames, a mystery cast member handcuffed to a sink and a semi-buried lakeside hand. Vera Farmiga ('Source Code', 'Orphan'), Freddie Highmore ('Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'), Nestor Carbonell ('Lost'), Mike Vogel, Olivia Cooke ('The Quiet Ones'), Nicola Peltz and Keegan Connor Tracy all star. "Bates Motel will give viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates' (Highmore) psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn firsthand how his mother, Norma (Farmiga), and her lover damaged Norman, helping forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history. Carbonell portrays a local sheriff, Vogel is his handsome deputy, and Thieriot plays Norman's older brother, Dylan Bates."
