Bryan Singer’s return to the comic book fray comes courtesy of ‘X-Men: First Class’ follow-up ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’. It’s a long way off before we’ll clapping our eyes on the final project but at least we can look forward to seeing the return of Anna Paquin as Rogue (‘True Blood’), Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde (‘Super’, ‘Inception’) and Shawn Ashmore as Iceman (‘The Barrens’). The trio, all last seen in Brett Ratner’s ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’, have been signed up to feature in the time-travelling sequel whereby the X-ers attempt to change time in order to avoid a major historical event that could globally impact on man and mutant kind. They join the returning Michael Fassbender (‘Prometheus’), James McAvoy (‘Wanted’), Jennifer Lawrence (‘The House at the End of the Street’), Nicholas Hoult (‘Warm Bodies’) as well old school ‘X-Men’ stars Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman (‘Les Miserables’).
‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ will hit theatres everywhere on 18th July 2014.
