The UK release of massive horror anthology feature ‘The ABCs of Death’ has finally been announced. Monster Pictures are set to unleash the flick into selected UK theatres from 26th April. The project includes no less than 26 short horror segments from 26 various genre directors including Kaare Andrews (‘Altitude’), Jason Eisener (‘Hobo with a Shotgun’), Xavier Gens (‘The Divide’), Srdjan Spasojevic (‘A Serbian Film’), Jake West (‘Doghouse’), Ti West (‘The Innkeepers’), Ben Wheatley (‘Kill List’) and Adam Wingard (‘V/H/S’). It’ll be opening in 26 select theatres across the UK. It’ll arrive on DVD and Blu-ray from 3rd June 2013. Check out all the short entries and director list below as well as the full rundown of all the select theatres.
“Twenty-six directors. Twenty-six ways to die. The ABCs OF DEATH is perhaps the most ambitious anthology film ever conceived with productions spanning fifteen countries and featuring segments directed by over two dozen of the world’s leading talents in contemporary genre film. Inspired by children’s educational books, the motion picture is comprised of twenty-six individual chapters, each helmed by a different director assigned a letter of the alphabet. The directors were then given free reign in choosing a word to create a story involving death.”
