One project that already on paper looks like it’ll be freaking awesome is the planned reboot of classic monster creature feature ‘Godzilla’. First off we have a fresh British talent behind the camera in the form of Gareth Edwards, whom made his feature debut with the impressive indie sci-fi flick ‘Monsters’. Next up we have ‘The Walking Dead’s Frank Darabont helping with the script. And finally Warner Brothers have already shown interest in tapping ‘Kick-Ass’ star Aaron Johnson to play the lead. It’s all very “so far so good” running up to its March 2013 production kick off and the icing on the cake is that even the supporting cast for the movie appears to be aiming high. Variety are reporting that rising star Elizabeth Olsen -below (‘Red Lights’, ‘Silent House’) and the multi-genre talented Bryan Cranston (‘Breaking Bad’) are currently in talks to join the epic project.
‘Godzilla’ is looking to to hit theatres on 16th May 2014.
