The haunting thriller THE UNINVITED brings nightmares to DVD and Blu-ray on October 19 2009. We have 3 copies of the DVD plus a fantastic Panasonic home entertainment system to giveaway. The Panasonic SC-PT170EB-K 5.1 DVD Home Cinema System shares the same lofty goal as the Blu-ray Disc player - to bring astonishingly high image quality to today's HD viewers. They feature a 1080p up-conversion function that converts standard definition (720 x 576 pixels) images from DVD sources to high definition (1920 x 1080 pixels) images. As for THE UNINVITED, the creepy and intense remake stars Emily Browning (Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events) as Anna, a girl who is driven by her mother's ghost to investigate her untimely death. When her father (David Strathairn, The Spiderwick Chronicles) becomes engaged to Rachel (Elizabeth Banks, Role Models), her mother's former nurse, Anna and her sister (Arielle Kebbel, The Grudge 2) look into Rachel’s past and begin to suspect that she is not what she seems. As horrifying truths are revealed, Anna becomes locked in a deadly battle with a shocking conclusion. A brisk-paced tale of revenge, THE UNINVITED will leave viewers guessing until the final, fatal twist.
