Premiere Entertainment Group (PEG), a Los Angeles-based sales, production and financing company, has announced that APARTMENT 213 starring UFC legend Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone has wrapped principal photography in New Mexico. This will be the first lead role for the fighter turned actor. The film was directed by Lance Kawas from his and John Sullivan’s screenplay based on a story by James Raptoplous and Michael Pizzimenti.
APARTMENT 213 follows a former marine (Cerrone) who awakens one morning to an apocalyptic sight outside of his window and barricades himself from demonic creatures, known as darklings, that surround his apartment door and terrorize the city.
The film was produced by Al Bravo for Al Bravo Films, Asif Akbar for Avail Entertainment, and Lance Kawas. Elias Axume of Premiere Entertainment Group is handling worldwide sales and serving as executive producer alongside James Raptoplous.
Premiere Entertainment has launched sales talks with buyers on the creature feature at TIFF.
Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone will be seen in the upcoming action thriller The Commando starring alongside Mickey Rourke and Michael Jai White. Cerrone is represented by The Gersh Agency.
