This, coming on the heels of getting a standing-o and winning Best Picture at the recent Legless Corpse Film Festival where it was touted as “Bloody, Campy…and Fun!!”
With the Special Edition Blu Ray and DVD almost sold out, we can not hold back this award winning film from hitting every major viewing platform, presented in pristine HD quality and 5.1. surround sound. The folks at iHorror.com call the film “A fun B-Movie throwback with a Burton-esque feel.” And from Hellnotes.com: “The film has it all: dark humor, grisly gore, and even an intriguing thriller of a mystery.”
The Festival Tour continues unabated with upcoming screenings set for the Crimson Screen, Crypticon Seattle and Horror Hotel Film Festivals (where it has already been named an Award Winning film). Along the way, at prior fests, the film has already pulled in two Best Picture nods, Best Actor and Best Effects.
According to Horror Hound Magazine, “KILD TV is exactly what the great majority of horror fans want in a horror film … interesting characters, a mysterious killer, just the right amount of gore, suspense, and a little sex appeal “
Here’s the synopsis:
“A TV journalist cracks a series of unsolved killings and prepares an expose for broadcast, all the while keeping secret that the twisted killer works at his own station. As he covertly prepares, a skeleton crew begins to air their live, late-night horror show, featuring a ghoulish host.
Unbeknownst to all, one crew member has already been viciously murdered and her body hidden. A violent thunderstorm rolls in as two more of the crew and the journalist disappear.
The TV show continues until the mutilated body of one of the missing is discovered. The crew frantically tries to flee the building, only to find all lines of escape and communication sabotaged.
Lightning strikes, leaving only emergency power, and one hope for rescue: broadcast or die ! They plea for help on the air but the plan fails when viewers believe it’s just a hoax. More slain bodies turn up and the pressure mounts to find the killer before another is found slaughtered.
As the mystery unravels, it becomes clear that the killer is one of them. Friends and colleagues begin distrusting each other, and, with every step inching closer to discovering who it is, another body falls.”
