‘Parks and Recreation’ star Chris Pratt is the latest to be tapped for a starring role in Colin Trevorrow’s dino development ‘Jurassic World’. The Wrap are reporting that the actor, whom will be seen next in the upcoming ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ as Star-Lord, is being lined up for the part that recently had Josh Brolin (‘Oldboy’) attached but whom will not now be part of the project. The Universal Pictures production has already scored Bryce Dallas Howard (‘The Village’), Nick Robinson (‘The Kings of Summer’) and Ty Simpkins (‘Insidious Chapter 2’). And reportedly ‘Life of Pi’ actor Irrfan Khan is also in line for a supporting role. Trevorrow will helm from a script he co-penned with Derek Connolly.

‘Jurassic World’ will arrive in theatres in 3D on 12 June 2015.
