After a bunch of rumours went flying around last week regarding ‘Ghostbusters 3’ it seems at least some of them may have had some truth behind them. Harold Ramis has been speaking with the The Chicago Tribune about the possibility of Judd Apatow being involved which could also lead to some acting roles for his comedy acting buddies.
Ramis also mentioned that the script will likely see the original Ghostbusters themselves handing over Ecto 1 straight to the ‘new’ Ghostbusters. And yes everybody, after years of dismissing a return Ramis has said that Bill Murray will once again be back as Dr. Peter Venkman, at least in some capacity.
Ramis, Aykroyd and original ‘Ghostbusters’ director Ivan Reitman will be consultants on the film, says Ramis. This is definitely one to keep an eye on. As for the potential involvement of the Apatow crowd, well…Im certainly on board the idea!
