No sooner are we elated at the news that pre-production on ‘Jurassic Park 4’ has kicked off do we have to potentially suffer a punch in the stomach at news that the whole project may have been completely halted. Merely days following the post of the first location scout photo from director Colin Trevorrow (‘Safety Not Guaranteed’) Twitter opens up to hints that JP4 may not be as secure as we first thought. Below you’ll see two seperate tweets from both ‘Jurassic Park 4’ concept artist Dean Sherfiff and Digital Assets Manager Todd Smoyer respectively. Both seemingly hinting at an all our halt of the production. The first tweet was later removed, likely at the request of Universal but the studio are yet to make any announcement to deny or confirm these online statments. Production was eyeing a June 2014 release but as we stated in our last post this seems like an awfully quick turnaround for a movie of this magnitude. Perhaps its simply time to put the brakes on a bit?
