Arriving later this month is the release of the first edition of new British horror comic book series ‘Video Nasty’, a horror comic that deals with the politics behind government censorship and media manipulation. It comes courtesy of writer Mario Covone and artist Vasilis Logios and to celebrate the launch of this cool new comic there will be a special screening of Sam Raimi’s cult classic 80’s horror ‘The Evil Dead’, one of the most notorious movies present during the whole Video Nasty phase in the UK in the early 1980’s, on 15 March The launch night will include an introduction by the comic’s author himself Mario Covone and all attendees will get a free copy of the first issue.
