I do feel I’m getting to the end of my tether with vampires of late. Whilst my TV is chocked full of the blood suckers in the form of the BBC’s ‘Being Human’ series, ‘True Blood’ and ‘The Vampire Diaries’ even the cinemas are starting to ‘overdo’ things. With the likes of the ‘Twilight’ movies and more on the horizon we’re now faced with Amy Heckerling’s toothy offering ‘Vamps’, starring Alicia Silverstone. MovieHole has been chatting to Amy about things.
‘Vamps’, written by Heckerling herself, deals with a couple of female vampires (Silverstone and Krysten Ritter (both below)) who fall in love with a couple of mortals.
Though she hasn’t mentioned what to expect she does mention how great it is to reunite with Silverstone on the project.
”I love Alicia as if she were my own daughter. Whenever I see her, I just feel happy, and the idea of seeing her every day and making a movie is about as good as it gets for me.”
