After spinning the entire original concept of ‘Wrong Turn’ right out of the woods and slap-bang into the crazy house it seems the new Declan O’Brien (‘Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead’, ‘Sharktopus’) helmed follow-up ‘Wrong Turn 4’ is kicking off it’s casting. The shoot will start up soon in Winnipeg, Canada and it appears that a bunch of new actors, including a couple of local actors have been signed up. Winnipeg actors Scott Johnson and Jennifer Pudavick – below (‘Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell’) are on board whilst they are joined by Sean Skene, Daniel Skene and ‘Canada’s Next Top Model’ star Tenika Davis (‘Saw VI’). The three lads will take on the villainous ‘Three-Finger’, ‘One-Eye’ and ‘Sawtooth’ parts.
“In the fourth film in the popular franchise, a group of friends decide to go snowmobiling during their winter break. They make a “wrong turn”, getting lost in a storm, and seek shelter in an abandoned sanatorium. They are completely isolated by the storm and are thankful they can get out of the elements. But the sanatorium has a troubled past, and some of its former patients still reside there and are not happy about the intrusion. In a deadly game of cat and mouse, the college kids must fight to survive the night. Only their wits can save them in this scary showdown locked away by the elements reminiscent of the classic film The Shining.”
