Last month Universal bought us the sad news that ‘Jurassic Park 4’ had been put on hold due to script and schedule issues. But it appears that they’ve quickly pulled their finger out to get the project back in motion. Originally the sequel was already sitting in a 13 June 2014 release slot which in terms of production is right around the corner so it comes as no surprise to see that Universal have now shoved it to a undetermined 2015 release date, though likely early Summer time. Colin Trevorrow (‘Safety Not Guaranteed’) is still set to direct and the project unsurprisingly will be shot in 3D. Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa, Derek Connolly and Trevorrow himself have all worked on the script to date but it’s not too clear if anyone else will be bought in to tidy it up.
