Australian actress Sarah Snook (‘Sleeping Beauty’) and Mark Webber (‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’) have signed up for ‘Saw 3D’ helmer Kevin Greutert’s new horror project ‘Jessabelle’. Production on the new supernatural horror story from Lionsgate will kick off from 2 April and will star Snook a woman who loses her legs in a car crash only to return home and face off against an angry ghost. Webber will star as an old school friend to Snook’s character. ‘Reno 911!’ writer and star Robert Ben Garant penned the script. Garant has also written on other movies such as ‘Night at the Museum’ and ‘Balls of Fury’. He’s currently working on a script for a feature adaption of British sitcom ‘Rentaghost’ – another Ben Stiller project.
“A woman who is forced to return to her father’s home in Louisiana when a car accident leaves her without the use of her legs. It’s not long before she discovers a mystery surrounding her own birth, as well as an angry ghost determined to destroy her.”
