Ekachai Uekrongtham’s new Thai horror flick ‘The Coffin’ will be arriving a little later this year in the US on June 9. The movie, based on a ‘True Thai Ritual’, has gotten itself a brand new creepy poster. You can check it out below.
“A Thai architect and a Hong Kong dietitian decide to go through the ritual of lying in a coffin to get rid of bad luck, to prolong life, and to cheat death – only to be faced with a series of strange and terrifying incidents afterwards.”
‘The Coffin’ stars Florence Faivre, Ananda Everingham, Napakpapha Nakprasitte, Suchao Pongwilai, Andrew Lin, Micheal Pupart and Aki Shibuya.
So what’s the depressing catch? Well perhaps it’s low certification throughout most of Asia. Yikes! If this thing turns out to be a PG-13 then it’ll bring a tear to my eye.
