John Suits’ upcoming thriller ‘The Scribbler’ has been picked up for North American distribution by XLrator Media. Based on the original British graphic novel by Dan Schaffer the project revolves around Suki, played by the gorgeous Katie Cassidy -below (‘Arrow’, ‘Kill For Me’), a young woman trying out some experimental new treatment to help remove her unwanted multiple personalities. The movie also stars a host of talented lovely ladies that includes Michelle Trachtenberg (‘Gossip Girl’), Eliza Dushku (‘Dollhouse’), Gina Gershon (‘Bound’), Sasha Grey (‘Would You Rather’) and Ashlynn Yennie (‘The Human Centipede (First Sequence)’). Garret Dillahunt (‘Winter’s Bone’), Michael Imperioli (‘The Lovely Bones’), Billy Campbell (‘The Killing’) and Kunal Nayyar (‘The Big Bang Theory’) also star.
“THE SCRIBBLER concerns Suki (Cassidy), a young woman confronting her destructive mental illness using “The Siamese Burn”, an experimental machine designed to eliminate multiple personalities. The closer Suki comes to being “cured”, she’s haunted by a thought… what if the last unwanted identity turns out to be her?”
