The man behind 2008’s animated hit ‘Igor’ is writer/director Anthony Leondis and his latest animated project has just scored the voice of a very funny lady. Melissa McCarthy (below) will lend her vocal talents to upcoming DreamWorks Animation project ‘B.O.O. (Bureau Of Otherworldly Operations)’. The film based on an original idea by Leondis which he will also helm and will see Seth Rogen (‘This is the End’) play the lead role who partners McCarthy’s character Watts in a “super secret government agency dedicated to protecting humans from evil hauntings”. Both Rogen and McCarthy’s characters are also in fact ghosts themselves – hmmm sounds very much like another project arriving next month? R.I.P.D. anyone!? This movie, however, is one hell of a long way off and won’t see the light of day until 5 June 2015.
“B.O.O. is a super secret government agency dedicated to protecting humans from evil hauntings. Agents are themselves ghosts. Two new agents, Jackson Moss (voiced by Seth Rogen) and his oddball partner Watts (McCarthy), uncover a plot by the agency’s Most Wanted Haunter to destroy B.O.O. They must use every trick in their arsenal to defeat his powerful ghost army and save Earth from a ghostly fate.”
