Some rather irritating news to unfortunately kick-off your weekend with is news that Eli Roth’s latest gore-filled horror offering ‘The Green Inferno’ has fallen victim to a late release date shifting! Originally planned to arrive on 5 September, less than one month away, the movie has now been pulled completely with no replacement date offered. There is even the possibility that the project will not even make it to theatres at all. It all boils down to financier issues with Worldview Entertainment and so Open Road have had to pull the plug on its planned September opening. ‘The Green Inferno’ stars Lorenza Izzo (‘Aftershock’), Ariel Levy, Daryl Sabara, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Sky Ferreira, Magda Apanowicz, Nicolás Martínez and Aaron Burns. Let’s just hope this gets resolved and that the movie gets an adequate release plan in the future.
