The feature film debut from Aftermath director Nacho Cerda, Bloodline, is a movie that’s had a close eye on it for a while now. Cerda directed from a script by Subconcious Cruelty helmer Karim Hussain, which had a re-write done by Dust Devil director Richard Stanley.
Filmax finally has a trailer for Bloodline on its official site. Check it out here.
Bloodline concerns an American film producer (Anastasia Hille) who returns to her home in Russia when her natural mother, whom she never knew, is found dead under mysterious circumstances. The answers to her mother’s death may lie in a remote cabin they owned, but when she goes there and meets up with a man named Boris, who was drawn to the cabin for the same reasons, they discover the truth might be more frightening than they can handle; there are ghosts in the cabin, and the ghosts are themselves.
Creepy. The trailer seems very American-ized for some reason, featuring lots of screaming and spooky sounds and the obligatory one last jump scare in the final seconds, but I’m sure that was the studio’s doing. Check it out and see for yourself.
