Due to the high volume of first rate hotties involved in Wes Craven’s new slasher installment ‘Scream 4’ there’s been a lot of speculation as to just whom is going to go the distance and who will simply end up as Ghostface fodder. With the likes of Emma Roberts, Marley Shelton (‘Planet Terror’), Britt Robertson, Hayden Panettiere (‘Heroes’), Aimee Teegarden Marielle Jaffe, Anna Paquin (‘True Blood’), Kristen Bell (‘Pulse’), Shenae Grimes and Lucy Hale all in the firing line it seems like at least one of the unsuspecting victims has stepped forward. Cutie Lucy Hale (below), star of TV’s ‘Pretty Little Liars’, has been chatting to Screen Junkies and appears to have potentially and inadvertently named herself as an early kill off! Read what she had to say below and draw your own conclusions.
“It’s a small role, which I was very happy to play. I’m at the beginning of the movie. They literally made me sign stuff that I couldn’t say much about it but it’s very exciting. It was very exciting for me to be a part of it and meet Wes Craven who’s an absolute sweetheart. I didn’t know what to expect but it was fun.”
Hale went on to say: “To be a part that has a cult following, to look back at Drew Barrymore’s opening scene and be like I’m a part of this. This is unreal. It’s really cool.”
Will Lucy Hale Make Early Exit on ‘Scream 4’?
And, if you didn’t already know, the plot of ‘Scream 4’ goes a little something like this.
“Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately, Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.”
Wes Craven’s long-awaited sequel ‘Scream 4’ will arrive in theatres across the US and UK on 15 April 2011.
