Zombie fun ‘Fido’ director Andrew Currie returns with new WWE Studios production ‘Barricade’. The new ghostly flick comes courtesy of a script penned by Michaelbrent Collings and is set to star ‘Will & Grace’ star Eric McCormack (below). This will mark the first horror project from WWE Studios that hasn’t involved a professional wrestler. Previous horror efforts such as ‘See No Evil’ and the co-production of ‘The Scorpion King’ starred both Kane (Glenn Jacobs) and The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) respectively. Heat Vision also have word that child actors Conner Dwelly and Ryan Grantham are in talks now to play McCormack’s characters two children. Check out the synopsis below.
“BARRICADE centers on a psychiatrist, seeking to find normalcy after the sudden passing of his wife, who takes his two kids to a remote cabin for healing and bonding. Their joy soon turns to despair when the family is terrorized by unknown forces and the father will stop at nothing to save them from peril.”
