The James Watkins helmed horror adaption of the creepy tale of ‘The Woman in Black’ has revealed a new UK trailer. Daniel Radcliffe (‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’) takes the lead in the Hammer Horror production written for the screen by ‘Kick-Ass’ and ‘X-Men: First Class’ scribe Jane Goldman AKA Mrs Jonathan Ross. Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer, Liz White, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire and Lucy May Barker all co-star alongside Mr Potter, I mean Radcliffe. “The Woman in Black follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote corner of the UK and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in an old and isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover its tragic secrets, and his unease grows when he discovers that the local village is held hostage by the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance.”
‘The Woman in Black’ opens in US theatres from 3 February 2012 and here in the UK from the 10 February.
