The first piece of artwork for Indomina Group’s ‘Cabin Fever: Patient Zero’, the first of two new sequels to the ‘Cabin Fever’ franchise, was revealed yesterday. And within 24 hours we have learnt that Kaare Andrews has been tapped to helm the cruise ship set virus follow-up. Andrews whose previous directorial effort was 2010’s high-flying horror ‘Altitude’, starring Jessica Lowndes and Julianna Guill, will direct from a script penned by Jake Wade Wall (‘The Hitcher’, ‘Amusement’). The sequel will be shot back to back with ‘Cabin Fever: Outbreak’ (the fourth installment) in the Dominican Republic.
“When a cruise ship in the Caribbean collides with an abandoned research vessel, a deadly virus is unleashed. Passengers must find a way to survive before the flesh eating disease consumes them all.”
