Roel Reiné returns once more to speedy action ‘Death Race’ franchise to follow his 2010 helmed prequel ‘Death Race 2’. The director of DR2 and ‘The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption’ is back again to oversee the direct to DVD sequel ‘Death Race: Inferno’, penned by returing scribe Tony Giglio (‘Timber Falls’). The first trailer from the up and coming follow-up has arrived all kitted out with explosions, crashes and abrupt dialogue. ‘Death Race: Inferno’ will star returning players Luke Goss (as Carl ‘Luke’ Lucas), Ving Rhames (‘Piranha 3DD’), Danny Trejo (‘Machete Kills’) and South African stunner Tanit Phoenix -below (‘Lost Boys: The Thirst’) and is set to race straight onto DVD at some point in the near future. Dougray Scott (‘Mission: Impossible II’), Robin Shou, Fred Koehler, Tanya van Graan, Sean Cameron Michael, Langley Kirkwood, Jeremy Crutchley and Brandon Livanos also star.
