Suck on this. Young filmmaker Emily Hagins' new comedy horror 'My Sucky Teen Romance' has been given a brand spanking new trailer. The teen vampire feature will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray stateside from 4 September and also enjoyed some early screenings across the likes of LA, New York Chicago and Texas last week. The flick stars Devin Bonnée, Lauren Lee, Elaine Hurt, Santiago Dietche, Tony Vespe, Patrick Delgado, Lauren Vunderink, John Gholson, Sam Eidson and the sexy Tina Rodriguez -below ('Machete'). "On 17-year-old Kate's last weekend in town, she and her friends plan to spend it together at SpaceCON– the local science fiction convention they attend every year. At the convention Kate meets Paul, a recently turned teen-vampire (who is also dressed as one). But when Kate tries to make a move on him, he accidentally bites her in the neck. Kate and her friends soon discover that Paul is not the only vampire at the convention, and it is up to them to stop the vampires and find a way to turn Kate back before it is too late."

"I love the concept behind this movie and even though it’s not a new one, it definitely looks worthy of a viewing. It’s fantastic that his movie was directed by an 18 year old and the trailer absolutely makes her film one that may need to be broadcast to a wider audience. I haven’t seen it yet so I’ll definitely rent it through Blockbuster @ Home because the kiosk around the corner doesn’t have it. The movies that I choose come via mail and when I’m done I just return them. It saves time and money in the long run. A Dish co-worker suggested Blockbuster a few months back and I finally tried it. I love the female lead in this movie. She has an innocence about her but she plays the role of new vampire fighting the urge to bite people very well. Overall I’m impressed and ready to see this film. "
