CLAIRE HOLT SET TO TAKE REBEKAH TO 'THE ORIGINALS' SPIN-OFF

'The Originals' has scored another related cast member who'll be packing up their bags from the set of 'The Vampire Diaries' and heading to the new CW spin-off series. Claire Holt (below), who plays original vamp Rebekah Mikaelson currently in the series, is set to join the likes of Daniel Gillies (as Elijah Mikaelson), Joseph Morgan (as Klaus Mikaelson), Phoebe Tonkin (as Hayley), Daniella Pineda (as Sophie), Danielle Campbell (as Davina), Charles Michael Davis (as Marcel), and Leah Pipes (as Camille). Gorgeous Aussie star Holt stars as Elijah's sister and is of course the former lover of Stefan Salvatore. The pilot will be stapled in the main series of 'The Vampire Diaries' and is set to air on 25th April.

"'The Originals' centers on the Original family of vampires, as Klaus (Morgan) returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans — a town he helped build centuries ago — and is reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel. Tonkin also stars, reprising her Vampire Diaries character as werewolf Hayley that was introduced this past fall."
