SHOCKFEST HIGHLIGHT ITALIAN HORROR
Screenings of three rare Italian horror films highlight the Shockfest Horror Film Festival, being held September 28, 2003 at the Veterans Memorial Building in Cookeville, TN. The lineup includes Joe DAmatos DEATH SMILES ON A MURDERER, starring Klaus Kinski and Ewa Aulin, Antonio Margheriti/Anthony M. Dawsons KILLER FISH, with Lee Majors, Karen Black and James Franciscus, and Armando Crispinos THE DEAD ARE ALIVE, starring Samantha Eggar, along with a half hour of rare 16mm horror/exploitation trailers. Guests include local filmmaker Donald (EROTIC VAMPIRE IN PARIS) Farmer and his actors Phillip Newman and Fanny Terjeki, as well as HOME SICK and BLOOD FEAST 2 makeup FX creator Jonathan Thornton.
