Cinema Epoch has acquired worldwide distribution rights to director Vito Trabucco’s dark thriller-comedy THE DELICATE ART OF COOKING ITALIAN AND KILLING YOUR WIFE, with a worldwide digital release planned for late October across major streaming platforms.
Prior to its streaming launch, the film will make its international market debut at the 2026 American Film Market (AFM) in Los Angeles, where Cinema Epoch will present the film to distributors and buyers from around the world.
A stylish blend of psychological suspense, dark comedy, and classic European giallo influences, THE DELICATE ART OF COOKING ITALIAN AND KILLING YOUR WIFE follows a man whose cozy weekend spirals into murder after he kills his wife, only to find himself trapped in a dangerous game of cat and mouse where reality is constantly shifting and nothing is quite what it seems. Paying homage to the suspense traditions of Brian De Palma, Claude Chabrol, and Alfred Hitchcock, the film delivers unexpected twists, mounting paranoia, and wickedly dark humor—while proving that authentic Italian cuisine never lies.
The film stars Vince Cusimano (Blade: The Iron Cross), Tania Fox (Airplane 2025), and Katt Balsan (John Henry).
Directed by Vito Trabucco, from a screenplay by Vince Cusimano and Vito Trabucco, the film was produced by Jake Cole, Vince Cusimano, and Vito Trabucco. The score is by Fabrizio Castania and cinematography by Craig Railsback.
