SCHRADER FIRED FROM EXORCIST?
Confirming rumors that have flown for months, particularly after the film was delayed out of summer 2003 and moved to February of 2004, the NEW YORK POST’s Page Six is reporting that Paul Schrader has been fired off of EXORCIST: THE BEGINNING and is being replaced by a new director, who will helm upcoming reshoots intended to turn the film into more of a straightforward horror picture with additional blood and guts. Normally such things are kept behind closed doors, but angry parties are using the press these days to complain about the way things have been going with EXORCIST thus far.
