HELLBOY MESSAGE BOARD UPDATE
Guillermo del Toro has once again answered a round of fan questions this week on the message boards, but sadly announces that from now on he can only appear to answer questions bi-weekly. Still better than not at all! Here’s some of what was revealed in today’s batch:
-Guillermo has seen the short Mignola-inspired Hellboy animation currently making its rounds on the net, and is interested in using that style should an animated series be spun-off the movie.
-The sets for ‘Hellboy’ are the largest Guillermo has ever worked with.
-It is too early to tell if there will be a Director’s Cut Hellboy DVD. Additionally, if they decide not to use actor Doug Jones’ voice for the role of Abe Sapien, they may be contractually obligated to not put his voice tests on the DVD.
-Expect series creator Mike Mignola to include some alternate cover art for the DVD upon its release. Failing that, it may be posted on Hellsite.com for fans to print out and use.
