DAWN DVD RELEASE DATE?
Over the weekend the Creature Corner received some news from their friend Markus that the holding company which owns Anchor Bay was getting ready to sell them for around the neighborhood of $60 million.
While they’re still waiting to find out who Anchor Bay is being sold to, speculation has begun as to the future of AB’s releases, Today something good has fallen down the pipeline in that matter, thankfully.
DVD File is reporting that Anchor Bay will finally release the 2-disc Dawn of the Dead DVD on March 9th. I know, I know, we were all expecting three discs, but at this point I’ll happily take what they offer, as long as it has Argento’s cut on it.
Unfortunately we don’t know if it does, since no details were available, but at least now we can be fairly confident the sale of Anchor Bay won’t disrupt what they do best.
