HELL NOT ON TV!
Back on Tuesday we did a story based on new info over at Celluloid Shockers about an animator that was supposedly working on the opening sequence for a pilot episode of what was hopefully going to become a Hellraiser TV show. Most of it seemed legit enough, and indeed it more or less was, but unfortunately some information got read wrong along the way.
What it’s being made for is a Hellraiser short directed by an English filmmaker, and said filmmaker has bee posting on the Cenobite message boards for a while now detailing the trials and tribulations of his film. He clarifies that the short was being made as a possible promo for a possible series, but nothing has even come across the ever-watchful eyes of even Miramax yet.
So don’t get too excited for a Pinhead variety show. The film is currently finishing it’s post-production, and they’ll see where it might go from there. It was originally believed to be a mini series planned for the BBC and stated as Channel 4 in other sources but the Creature Corner has queried Channel 4 on it and the only thing they have relating to Hellraiser are the films.
