Zombies Get Animated
Filmmaker/animator Frank Sudol of BlackArro Productions gave Fango the news that his latest project is a bloody zombie opus called CITY OF ROTT. He describes it to us as a rare-gem animated zombie horror film following the exploration of an old man whos losing his mind in the worst place on Earth, the City of Rott. On the site linked above, Sudol further reveals, I dont want to waste the viewers time with too much meaningless dialogue. I only put in there what I believe tells the story, without boring the audience too much. Thats why the film doesnt run as long as a feature; its closer to an hour long. Still focused on the characters and their story, I really want CITY OF ROTT to be a pinnacle zombie flick. Not just brief moments among the dead. When I go to see a zombie movie, there better be zombies in it. Dialogue is fine, but dont overdo it to the point the viewer forgets its a zombie film.
