Re-Animator FX Vet Directs Slaughtered
Anthony Doublin, who contributed special makeup FX to films like RE-ANIMATOR, BRIDE OF RE-ANIMATOR, FROM BEYOND and SUNDOWN, gave Fango the news about his own horror feature, titled SLAUGHTERED. The story concerns a twisted guy named Harold (Chris Smith, a.k.a. Khhryst) who murders models on camera and posts their pictures on his Slaughtered Sheep snuff website. Eventually, his victims come back from the dead to exact revenge. Doublin wrote, produced and directed the movie, and his Doublin Effects company provided the gore; SLAUGHTERED will be released on DVD later this year by Brain Damage Films; you can see the movies official website, with trailers, video clips, photos and more (warning: adults-only content), here. Doublin plans to follow up this year with a pair of chillers, MANHATER and VOODOO DOLLY.
