A Variety page for distributor Romar Entertainment reveals that the company will open Uwe Boll’s BLOODRAYNE across the U.S. January 6, 2006. This will be the first nationwide debut for the company, which otherwise has limited indie releases on its past and future résumé. BLOODRAYNE, the third in Boll’s string of genre features based on popular video games, was scripted by Guinevere (AMERICAN PSYCHO) Turner and stars Kristanna Loken in the title role of a half-human, half-vampire slayer of bloodsuckers, with Ben Kingsley, Michael Madsen, Matthew Davis, Michelle Rodriguez and Udo Kier in supporting roles.
