Box Office Mojo is reporting that after pulling WOLF CREEK from its November 18 berth and slotting it for January 6, Dimension/The Weinstein Company has now dropped it back into 2005, specifically December 25. Christmas Sunday might seem a strange day to open a hard-R-rated horror film, but the holiday debut worked for Dimension’s DARKNESS last year. Keeping up with these juggling winter releases (HOSTEL has also moved twice in the last month or so, and as we told you here is still awaiting a confirmed debut date, and Fox Searchlight has yet to settle on a day for NIGHT WATCH) is getting to be a bit wearying, but we’ll continue to bring you any further updates.
