It’s weird to the think that, on top of creating one of the coolest things to happen to our genre in years — namely, Masters of Horror — Mick Garris still has a TV movie out there in the wings waiting for broadcast.
That movie, of course, is Desperation, based on the book of the same name by Stephen King. Even though it’s been finished for almost a year, it’s not set to air on ABC until next fall, but you might be able to see some of it rightnow…
The resourceful folks over at Lilja’s Library learned that anyone who buys “Desperate Housewives: Season 1” from Wal-Mart (evil!) is given a DVD of previews for ABC’s fall season. Guess what’s on it?
There’ve been no reports yet as to just how much of Desperation is shown, but at this point even a few minutes would be good just to remind us that it does, indeed, exist.
The Library also confirmed that Nightmares & Dreamscapes will air on TNT next summer.
