If you’ve read reviews for horror novelist Tim Lebbon’s very, very dark fantasy tale Dusk, you’ve probably got a good idea that Tim’s created a massive world that the story is set in, a world in which magic was once a part of everyday life but has now been stripped away; a world that is falling into decay.
The world is called Noreela, and since the book was first ready for publication there’s been an official site for it online for fans to probe deeper into this strange new place. On May 1st, Tim will begin a new tale set in Noreela, though this one is a full 100 years before the events of Dusk. It will be an original serial novella called The Bajuman, and the Noreela website will have it as a free download in 6 weekly installments.
Necessary Evil Press is co-sponsoring this unique e-event, and eventually will publish the novella as well. It’s a very cool way for readers to bide their time between Dusk and its sequel, Dawn, which is set for publication in January 2007. Click here for more info on The Bajuman!
