Very good news, fans of the Biehn. The closest we have come to any sort of official confirmation in regard to the status of Grind House has finally shown up, courtesy of a Podcast done by the man, the myth, the one and only: Michael Biehn.
Anwyay, the folks at Moviehole discovered that in a Podcast over on his official fan club site, Biehn confirms his role in Robert Rodriguez’s half of Grind House, as well as the rumor that shooting had been shut down, albeit temporarily. Which jives with some of the more reputable reports we’ve heard from the set in the past few weeks.
“It’s been an absolutely amazing experience on Grind House,” he said in the Podcast. “[I] love Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. Rodriguez is an immensely talented guy…and I think it’s just going to be an amazing movie.”
That is, in a word, awesome. Biehn’s next gig is alongside Blade, aka Wesley Snipes, in an action movie called Shooter. Check out the fan site here for the whole transmission!
