Variety reports that Stephen Susco, scripter of the two GRUDGE films, will make his directorial debut on the horror feature WHITE for Rogue Pictures. Susco will also write the project, which is based on the novella from the anthology WHITE AND OTHER TALES OF RUIN by author Tim Lebbon, published by Night Shade Books. The story concerns a group of people who become trapped in a manor house during an endless blizzard, and are killed one by one by half-glimpsed phantoms in the snow. Michael Zoumas, formerly of Dimension (where he worked on MIMIC, BELOW and VENOM) and now head of Zoom Entertainment, will produce; the company also has Henry Selick’s screen version of Neil Gaiman’s CORALINE in the works with Rogue.
