Robert Beaucage got in touch with Fango and gave them the lowdown on his latest project, the dark-fantasy/horror flick ‘Spike’
“Final tweaks are being made to the sound mix,” he tells us, “after which the movie is done!” A trailer is expected to be completed soon as well (hopefully showcasing the film’s titular creature, created by REEKER FX man Jordu Schell), and Beaucage says that his goal will then be to go the fest route with SPIKE. “We’re not showing it to distributors yet,” he notes. “Keeping them in suspense seems to be part of the independent film game, so we’ve decided first to take it on the festival circuit. We have a lot of fests under consideration, and are looking forward to having our world premiere at one of them by this summer.”
Swing by the official Spike site right here. It’s had a bit of an update and has some new clips, production stills, storyboard images, cast and crew bios, a forum and more (ok so it’s had more than a bit of an update!).
