Poor old wolfy. It seems that the hair covered Benicio Del Toro flick ‘The Wolf Man’ has been hit with another set back, in this case it’s been put back once again. And now it’s slipped all the way down to a 2010 slated release – the fourth announced release date in the life of this monster feature.
Universal are claiming the decision to stamp this revamp with a February 2010 release is to balance out the giggles with scares by going up against Warner Bros. romantic comedy ‘Valentine’s Day’.
“Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman, is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. The revamp (rewolf!?) stars Benicio Del Toro in the title role alongside Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving.
