Great news for fans of taught Spanish horror thriller flick ‘[REC]’ and it’s follow-up entry [REC] 2′. It appears that directors Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza are already discussing the continuation of the popular franchise. Discussions are already taking place between the directorial duo and the production company Filmax.
Balagueró is currently working on his new thriller ‘Flatmate’, which should see a release some time next year. But when he’s all finished up with that he’ll be moving his attentions to the possible ‘[REC] 3’ sequel.
Balagueró has revealed to Dread Central that one potential scenario for the film could be to leave the the apartment building behind.
