Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Grasshopper Manufacture’s kick-ass zombie game ‘Lollipop Chainsaw’ is fast approaching. And with James Gunn (‘Slither’, ‘Dawn of the Dead’) creating some fantastic gaming characters for us to enjoy when its unleashed on 15 June we were always interested in who would be voicing Juliet Starling and the range of friends and enemies that our dear hot undead killing cheerleader would meet along the way. Voice artist Tara Strong, who voiced Harley Quinn in ‘Batman: Arkham City’, will take on the role of Juliet and she is joined by a host of other performers. Michael Rosenbaum (‘Smallville’) will be voicing Nick, the disembodied head of Juliet’s boyfriend and Linda Cardellini -below (‘Scooby Doo’), Shawnee Smith (‘Saw’, ‘Saw II’) and Michael Rooker (‘Slither’, ‘The Walking Dead’) are also lending their vocal talents to the proceedings.
“Lollipop Chainsaw is the ‘un-deadly’ story of sweet but killer zombie-hunter Juliet Starling and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak. With her wickedly awesome chainsaw in hand, Juliet slices, dices and splits her way through hordes of the undead, but soon realises the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill the chainsaw-wielding cheerleader.”
‘Lollipop Chainsaw’ will arrive on the PS3 and Xbox360 from 15 June in the US.
