The American remake of Mexican cannibal thriller ‘We Are What We Are’ (AKA ‘Somos lo que hay’) kicks off production at the end of next month. Julia Garner (‘The Last Exorcism 2’) and Bill Sage (‘Boardwalk Empire’) are already on board and now they’re to be joined by model and actress Riley Keough (below). The 22-year old stunner, who is the grandchild of Elvis Presley, will play the sister of Garner’s character whom both become forced into partaking in an ancient cannibalism ritual by their father after the death of their mother. Actor Bill Sage will play the father and the trio will be directed by ‘Stake Land’ helmer Jim Mickle. The remake is based on the original flick written and helmed by Jorge Michel Grau.
