Bought up by Anchor Bay some months ago was Amy Heckerling’s new vampire based comedy horror ingeniously entitled ‘Vamps’. And now here we are with our first taste of a new trailer to sink our teeth in to. Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter star as our couple of tasty vampiresses in this ‘Twilight’ meets ‘Clueless’ comedy combo. Sigourney Weaver (‘Aliens’, ‘Red Lights’), Richard Lewis (‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’), Malcolm McDowell (‘Halloween’) and Wallace Shawn (‘Toy Story’) all co-star. ‘Vamps’ is set to hit theatres across the US from 2 November. View the new trailer from the Lucky Monkey Pictures and Red Hour Films production below.
“Beautiful vampires Goody (Silverstone) and Stacy (Ritter) have been enjoying the good life in New York City. As upstanding, politically correct Extended Life Forms (ELFs), the pair hit a support group, “Sanguines Anonymous,” to help curb the temptation of human blood in between their clubbing and dating schedules. When love steals into each of their lives, the pair’s destiny is set on a new course and they must make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality…and maybe much more.”
