Scott Charles Stewart’s (‘Legion’) latest science fiction offering is ‘Dark Skies’, a thriller about one couples terrifying ordeal surrounding unwanted alien visitors. The Blumhouse Productions and Dimension Films co-production hits theatres on 22 February 2013 and now we get our hands on the first official trailer from the project. With ‘Paranormal Activity’, ‘Insidious’ and ‘Sinister’ producer Jason Blum on board we should be in for some decent scares and from watching the trailer we’re hopeful that that’s the case for this sci-fi horror. ‘Dark Skies’ stars the gorgeous Keri Russell (‘Mission: Impossible III’) along with Josh Hamilton (‘J. Edgar’), L.J. Benet, Dakota Goyo and the excellent J.K. Simmons (‘Juno’). Head below for the new trailer.
“Dark Skies is described as a psychological thriller about a suburban couple whose lives become a nightmare when a terrifying alien presence enters their home each night to prey upon their children. Increasingly isolated from skeptical friends and neighbors, the couple is forced to take matters into their own hands to save their family.”
